The North German Organ:
Specification
The North German organ has 54
stops and approximately 4,000 pipes. The smallest
pipe is only 15 millimeters high, whereas the
largest is over seven meters. The organ is supplied with
air from twelve wedge bellows, the largest bellows
system built since the middle of the 18th
century. The organ has four manuals
and one pedal, from which the following divisions
are played: - Werk

- Brust Positiv
- Pedal

So, in fact, several organs exist in
one instrument! The organist can use these different
divisions to create a kind of sounding architecture so that
the sound comes from different directions in the room create
echo effects, solos and accompaniments and even the
Renaissance ideal of the many heavenly choirs all working
together in harmony
Many of the Baroque organ stops bear
names of popular instruments of the time such as,
Dulcian, Zinka, Trumpet, Basun,
Blockflöte, and Kornett. Below is the
